Stinging Nettle Leaf Tea
Extremely versatile as it has both medicinal and culinary applications. The ancient Egyptians recognized it as being an "effective remedy for joint pain and lumbago". Brew into a tonifying tea, cook like spinach, or use in nettle soup! Drying and cooking removes stinging effect of the leaves.
Instructions: Steep 1 or 2 tsp in 10 oz of hot water covered for 5-10 mins. Ingredients: Stinging nettle leaves.
WARNING: Not recommended for pregnant women. Could interfere with blood-thinning drugs or diuretic drugs. May lower blood pressure.
